A delightful, many would say stunning, colourful hybrid. Named after the wife of Art Vogel, a former curator of the Leiden Botanic Garden in the Netherlands, this is an extremely popular plant with an appearance that's somewhat different to most others and has been awarded the Royal Horticultural Society AGM (Award of Garden Merit).

Fully hardy in the U.K., the plant produces pale pitchers that can reach approx. 1 foot tall and are at first green with lids bordering on almost pure white. As they mature, and with much sun exposure, the colouration in at least the upper portion of the pitchers gradually develops, with green & pink veining becoming progressively deeper and more acute, often leading to a dominant hue that 'bleeds' out of the green lower portion. This can create a beautiful contrast; moreso whilst the newer pitchers are still predominantly green and white. Pitchers are continually produced throughout the growing season and the plant will gradually form a clump. A delightful plant.

Stand in soft water during the growing season and keep just damp at other times, removing any dead/brown foliage whenever apparent.
